via ALT.NET Geek Code: Should you care about these ALT.NET guys?
I think this ALT.NET is just more rubbish, like Scrum and like Agile... Its all nice and fancy to want "no rules" and all but hasnt anyone learned from the hippies of the 1960's that no-rules FAILS miserably?Coders operating under strict rules are more productive and more profitable. Period.Dont change what isnt broken for the sake of change. Change is for those who cant play by the rules and are inherently ADHD types that cant and wont sit still.Be quiet, play by the rules and do your work should be the motto of everyone.I have laid off people who are determined to play by their own rules.
I really wish people would say where they work for, 'cos it'd be good to make a list of companies idiots like GetYoId above work for, so I dont EVER fall into a trap of working for them.bloody micromanagers. That said, I think it's just trollbait. which appears to have worked.
Yep, you felt into his trap :)
